John Klages is a partner in the Chicago office of Quarles & Brady, LLP. and is currently the head of the office’s Labor and Employment Group. John has more than 20 years of experience in the area of labor and employment law, with an emphasis on proactive management and litigation of employee relations issues before state and federal courts and agencies. He also represents employers in all types of labor matters involving union-related issues. John has overseen all employment and labor matters on a daily basis for numerous Fortune 500 companies employing thousands of employees.
Sepideh Esmaili Smith practices in the Firm’s Labor & Employment Group. She has experience in employment-related litigation, advice, counseling, and management of employment discrimination and harassment charges in federal and state courts and government agencies. Her recent experience includes representation of Fortune 500 and other smaller to mid-sized employers in federal and state court; Representation of a Fortune 500 company as well as smaller and midsized employers in discrimination matters before local, state, and federal agencies; and Assisting in the representation of large unionized company in labor arbitrations and disputes.
